The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examination directs Kerala Three Year LLB Entrance Exam for admission to three-year LL.B courses in government law colleges at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode and in private self-financing law colleges of Kerala which have entered into seat sharing agreement with the state government. KLEE is a paper-pen based objective type test is aimed at assessing the general knowledge and basic legal aptitude of students seeking three year LLB admission in Kerala in 2020.
Eligibility for Kerala Three Year LL.B Entrance Exam 2020:-
Nativity: Applicant should be an Indian Citizen.
Academic Qualifications -
a) Candidate seeking admission to the course should be a graduate in any faculty of any University in Kerala or of any other Universities, recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto.
b) A candidate who has passed the Bachelor’s Degree examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (i.e., 45% marks for all the parts of the Degree Examination taken together) shall alone be eligible for admission to the 3 year LL.B course. However, candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes need only 42% marks and those belonging to the Scheduled castes/Scheduled Tribes need only 40% marks in the qualifying examination. No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted. Applicants who have obtained first degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission. The applicants who have obtained graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission.
c) Candidates who are appearing /appeared for the qualifying examination (regular examination of 2018-19 academic years) are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidates become eligible for admission only if they produce the Provisional / Degree certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all parts of the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
Age: There is no lower age limit for admission to the 3 year LL.B course. The upper age limit for admission to the Three year LLB Course will be subject to the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Duration - Two Hours
Type - Objective Type
200 Questions of three marks each [Total: 200 x 3 = 600].
For every wrong answer one mark each will be deducted.
The questions will be based on General English, General Knowledge Arithmetic & Mental ability and Aptitude for Legal Studies.
